US-BOX System Fin

Fin defective or lost?

Our ALPIDEX fin can be fitted as a replacement in any US-BOX fin system.
No matter which board, US-BOX fins are always inserted into a rail from the underside with a threaded plate (usually a square nut)
and screwed from the bottom to allow quick and easy assembly/disassembly.

Fixing the fin in the US-BOX

1. Place the threaded plate of the fin through the wide recess in the fin slide and push it into the front section
2. Insert the fin with the rear end (here the cross pin/splint is attached) into the fin slide and push it slightly backwards
3. Fold the fin all the way down so that the fin rail is completely in the carriage
4. Slide the threaded plate exactly under the fin's mounting hole and screw it tight

Plug-in/RAIL fin

As a replacement or additional fin suitable for all ALPIDEX Stand Up Paddle Boards but also for boards/kayaks with Plug-in/RAIL system and pin lock.
For quick and uncomplicated assembly/disassembly, our plug-in system fins are simply inserted into a rail from the underside and fixed with the appropriate securing device.

Fasten the fin in the Plug-in/RAIL system

1. Pull the locking pin (plastic plate attached to the fin with a rope) off/out of the fin and insert the fin at the open end of the slide.
   In most cases, the safety pin should point backwards towards the end of the board.
2. Push the fin into the carriage as far as it will go. The recesses on the side of the carriage and the recess in the fin should now be at the same level.
3. Insert the locking pin into the recess until it engages on the opposite side of the carriage.
